Welcome to the 23rd edition of The Journal.
There are only four articles in this issue of the Journal, one that should have been published in Journal 22 (sorry Alan!), two written by regular and valued contributors and one written by the editor in order to make up the numbers. It 's like flogging a dead horse asking for contributions, and I'm a paid up member of the RSPCA, so unless you, the reader, do something about it this one will probably/most likely be the last.
